Ladder hole help

Hello folks. I had a mishap where when I was backing and pushed the mounting pole from the ladder though the wall. Thoughts about how to brace the backside so the ladder will still be able to be used. I'm ok with opening up the inside wall some more to put something in there like im guessing I'll need to do. It's all fiberglass
Thanks for any help in advance

I should probably add I'm Interested in something to patch the hole once it's braced.
Thanks

I think the first question from our end would be: What sort of FGRV are we talking about? This impacts the responses with regard to bracing afterwards.

As for the fibreglass repair, this is fairly easy. There are many easy repair kits out there. My personal preference is West System since it allows the user to dispense correct amounts of hardener and resin that can be used in the proper time frame.

If the break is in a hidden place inside the trailer, then a contoured plywood support which is fibreglassed to the interior wall would probably be enough to provide some protection should the ladder get re-pushed in. Otherwise, a good repair of the broken area using fibreglass should be sufficient.

This is not really the forum to find information about your trailer. This forum is dedicated to moulded fibreglass trailers. Totally different build, no slides, much smaller.

You'd probably receive more and better answers over on a sister site: https://www.irv2.com/forums/

Good luck!
