Leaky?

Me again. I have a quick question about my door. They apparently squared off the doors on the '98 17-footers. The garnish/silicone thing above the door--at least to me--doesn't look like it's going to keep rain from getting in around the door. Maybe I'm wrong--and I usually am. Should I be worried about that?

Thanks!

Our '96 SD17 has the same door, no leakage problem as there is a rubber seal on the door. Your door looks like it may be a little out of square to the door frame at the top. Check the rubber seal on the door, top, bottom, and sides.

If you are still apprehensive you can purchase vinyl rain gutter wirh double sided tape for attachment and less the likely hood of water intrusion. Google RV rain gutter. Should get some hits. I think it comes in a 25 foot strip. Enough to do several windows too.
