I agree. Wood scraps are free. I use a handful of 2x6 and 1x6 scraps. PT is I can find them. I also have a 3/4" square of plywood for the tongue jack.

Anderson levelers hands down. Especially if traveling solo.

I carry a few pieces of untreated 2x6 wood boards in my Scamp and in 100K+ dollars class B motorhome. Anyway you will loose them, forget somewhere or get them buried in the dirt. Why bother? Just cut few more pieces from the board lying in your garage's dark corner before the next trip.

Yep. Much less fussing than wood blocks. once I have it level side-to-side, I kick in the little wedge, then I chock the other wheel to keep things in place.

My trailer came with various lengths of PT 2x8's with a 45deg slope on one end that I use under the rear stabilizers and the tongue jack. I just need a little piece of 3/4 ply for those times the tongue jack has very little clearance to swing down.

I still suck at backing up though.

I haven’t successfully used them for leveling-the Anderson is so much easier. I use the legos under my stabilizers, especially on gravel or dirt, to keep them from sinking in. Also, a couple of the blocks let’s me cheat and not crank the stabilizers quite so far down.

I have a plastic step block with 4 or 5 steps that I use to level the trailer. it is about 14" long by 5" wide and the final step is about 4 inches high. It also works well to tilt the trailer when draining the tanks by putting in under the door side tire. It fits well between the entrance door frame and the shower door extrusion.

I think the manufacturer of my block was Camco. It works for me. The Anderson level, cresent shape block, just didn't appeal to me. It looked to be difficult to use and store.

It's not either Frank.

It stores easily and is a snap to use.

I've used the Andersen Leveler for 5 years now and it's the best. The only down side is the cost but that only hurts once
