Hi Everyone,
I'm considering purchasing a 1987 19' Bigfoot tandem axle trailer. I want to turn it into a "art studio/workshop on wheels". The stated dry weight is 2900 lbs. I will need to remove all the furnishings, (except bathroom) & put my workbenches & tools in. I'm getting concerned about all the weight I might be adding though. After removing all the furnishings, which weigh I don't know how much, I may be adding as much as 2000 lbs. Does anyone know if the frame, fiberglass, axles, etc, etc, can handle carrying what might amount to a finished, total weight of 4500 lbs ??? I sure would appreciate any feedback that anyone can give me !
Thanks, J

Two axles are better than one! Usually there is a sticker in the wardrobe closet. If not, inspect the axles for a plate giving the load rating.
