Looking for ideas on compact table

So Iím trying to figure out a way to make my table /bed more user friendly
It has 2 posts... thinking of cutting the table down to use just a single post.. leaving the other half down
That way I can roll up our bedding on one half and use the other half as a dinette
I hope my explanation makes sense... if anyone has done this or has any ideas Iím open for ideas

Simply trying to make it easier to use table/bed setup

Again open for ideas

I understand perfectly and think it's a great idea. That's what Casita does in their Liberty model, and your longways Little Joe bed set-up is like a smaller version. Downside is single post tables can be more wobbly.

My B-van has a single-pedestal table with a piece in the pole that screws tight in the base for less wobble. Hard to explain, but it works well. It also doesn't get stuck the way some friction-only pedestal tables can. Let me know if you'd like more information.

alan, you might want to check out the lagun table support. it's a simple articulated arrangement that allows the table to be moved up and down, rotated and extended over the footwell. i have one in my casita 16'er and really enjoy being without that center post.

It might be the Sequoia III table leg & base system.

Label does confirm itís an ITC product, but the model is Redwood, and the base mount is different. This is the bottom of the post.

Looks like ITC makes a number of similar products. Check installation clearances to see what might work best in your application.

Lagun is very nice. Do the pieces easily separate to make up the bed?

The bed is currently made up with a table and 3 narrow pieces of plywood
