Looking for Manual for 1976 Trillium

Hi everyone,

I'm in search of an owners manual for our 1976 Trillium travel trailer. I've done some looking with no luck. It would be great to have a copy. Thanks in advance if you can help with this.

For the most part, none of the manufacturers owners manuals are worth a hoot. Typically the individual component appliance manuals are supplied to the first owner.

Have you checked the Document Center for what you need? http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/downloads.php

I checked the documents section and found it. You are very correct about the manual...not extremely useful. I was hoping it told you about how to make the bench seat into a bunk bed and some other useful things. Alas, I will have to search out those who have experience with it here. I am so grateful for this website. It has removed the stress of "can I do this restore" feelings.

lots of help here on FiberglassRV. I just caution you to not throw away any parts (broken or not), until you find replacements. Think things through. Use professional tools, good skills and good parts/supplies. Ask before you start something you're unsure of. There may be documentation in the archives we can point you to, or someone may have just completed a task you're trying to accomplish.

And you know of course, we like pictures

Here is what we have so far...nothing touched yet. I'm not sure if that is old paint or what on the outside of the trailer. Our Gallery

Oh my, that definitely looks like someone tried to paint it. You may be able to get most of it off with a pressure washer. Just be careful around windows and vents. Move the wand quickly and don't stay in one area very long. You just want to blast the paint off, not the gelcoat. Hot water works best too.

You can see the bunk in the down position, and in the other photo see the bunk up, with 2 chrome poles supporting it. There are round slots in the fiberglass bench for the poles to sit in, and a place to insert on the bottom of the bunk so they don't slide or fall out. The bunk is attached to the trailer with a piano hinge to a board that is mounted to the bottom of the window frame.

You don't need a manual for that Trillium... you can tow it with an automatic!

Art and Larry, I noticed that the trim on your ensolite is rippling. This can be fixed by pulling it off, (it just snaps in) and boiling it. No, this is not a crazy soup recipe. Lay it out flat, then snap it back in when it gets cool. Vinyl gets real soft, when it gets hot.
