Well I can sure see y'll have come a looooog way on your Love Bug.Glad I stop by to take a look.I know it is hard to stick with a big rebuild but you do know it will be worth it.The other good thing is that when you finish you will know for sure everything works and is the way you want it to look and feel inside and out.

We can finally camp, be comfortable and dry. When we brought our little Love Bug, Ozzy, home we didn't know what we were in for. There are still a few things left to do but most of what was Ozzy has been replaced by Violet.

Her name is "Wandering Violet", she is sound, road worthy, waterproof and clean. I mean to post more pics, they must be collected from 4 devices and 2 cameras. For now, until the next repair is needed, I will gladly report that we have completed our mission. Thank you to all of our forum friends who have helped see us through to this point.

[My own struggles with our U-Haul CT seem more modest now... which is probably a good thing--attitude-wise.]

Wow! I don't think I was a member of the forum when you started this project, so I didn't see your original post when you first got started on this project. What an accomplishment! You guys have a lot to be proud of. Hope you have many, many days of happy camping with "Wandering Violet"!

I guess Ozzy was your project trailer and now Violet is your camper. Time to enjoy it and keep it rolling. I know lot's of hard work got you to where you are now.
