Low Cost Exit window ventilation without the back stabber

After 4 years of the exit window level smacking me in the back I almost drilled holes in the arm for a pin to stop the window from slamming closed at the slightest touch. Then I would probably lose the pin, of course.


Using an office binder clip on the red handle works great. When breaking camp, I just close the window and put the clip on the handle once the window is closed. Maybe a 10 cents cure!

Come on Charlie, no one wants a fix like that . It doesn't involve FG work, ordering many extra parts or tearing anything apart. I may just have to pull one of your gold stars for this.
