MaxxFan Deluxe

Hi Folks,
Anybody have experience disassembling a MaxxFan Deluxe? I need to replace item 18A on the attached diagram and cannot see a way to attack from inside the camper (Casita Spirit Deluxe). Can I get to it from outside or do I have to remove the entire unit from the camper to fix this? Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Evirk

From the roof. Here's a different video with a MaxxFan Deluxe and its integral (not separate) rain shield and how to access that model's gear housing. Actual work/fumbling starts about 4:20 in.

Jon & Jon,
This forum has never disappointed me when I had a question and you two have kept that string intact. This is exactly the information I needed. My part is on order from Amazon and I now know how to gain access to the darn thing. The money I saved by not paying an RV dealer to do the repair is being spent on an nice new (and much safer) ladder to get me up and down. Cannot thank you enough!
Very best regards
Evirk (Eva and Kirk)

Hi Kalhoun here, Your maxfan can be repaired easily from outside of your Casita, grab ladder to access your fan from the outside, very easy repair
