Moisture on interior edges

Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum and new to having a RV in general. Last night during a heavy rain I noticed moisture along the interior edges of my 12 Rockwood. I am assuming it's not a leak because it's happening from front to back, only at a very few spots it wasn't there. Normally I stay in the RV alone but I had my nephew over when this was going on. I checked the ceilings and around my speakers, AC, and Vents. No moisture. Just along the edges. Is this normal? I've had the RV for 4 months and this is the first time I noticed it.

I tried looking at other forums, see some threads about moisture but nothing specifically about it forming on the edges only. May get up and check the roof this afternoon if the rain stops. Just wanting to see what others have to say.

Justin, it's not obvious from the forum name, but we are focused on all-molded, "egg"-type, fiberglass trailers (Scamp, Casita, and similar). Ours don't have edges or roof seams, so the issues are different.

If there is no leak, it is possible the moisture could be condensation. Maintaining ventilation in cool, humid conditions helps with that.

But I do think you have to consider the possibility the roof seam is leaking somewhere. They are the bane of conventionally-constructed RVs and the reason many of us have chosen the molded fiberglass alternative.

For finding and fixing seam leaks, you might get more and better information on s general RV forum such as iRV2.com.

Best wishes!

Got you! Thanks Jon, I wasn't aware of this.

I will give iRV2 a shot and take what you said into consideration.

I appreciate it sir.
