Mopping the floor...

I finally laid my Allure floor (the glue kind, and surprisingly the glue was good after 3 or 4 years sitting in the garage, though the papers were all loose.) No edging yet. But how do those of you with vinyl floors mop them? Do you carry a mop? Or just use a towel? If a mop, what kind and where do you keep it? Or do you just brush it out while camping and then mop when you get home?

The floor space is so small that I just squirt it with a spray cleaner and wipe with a rag. Takes all of 30 seconds or so.

I also keep a little dust brush/pan to manage sand and dirt tracked in while we're camping.

Paper towels or Swifer covers to the rescue! Shoot there's so little floor space in a trailer, a good paper towel would work. Camping should be about having fun, not cleaning. I do enough of that in my stick n' bricks home. Thorough cleaning can be done when I get home... at the END of the camping trip. Just need to keep the jelly off the floor!

Just pour a can of Coca Cola on the floor and wipe it up with a paper towel.

Good, kind of what I was thinking though mine is likely to need wiping clean a lot.

Less sticky if you use diet

On mine I like the sanitary effect of alcohol so I usually spill beer.

Well, I'm planning to decorate with corgi fur, so sticky would probably help keep it in place.

2 of my Furry grand dogs are corgi's....sounds to me like you are thinking along the lines of "shag covering" so you better use the diet....not as sticky, but as you know corgis will lick the flour clean if they even smell a hint of food!

Oh the youngest one just came home from her first trip to Agility Nationals in Oklahoma last week end...she placed and had fun.

Gimble....owner/handler James MacQueen( my son in law ) she and James got one perfect score...not enough to get to finals, but a great showing for their first Nationals.

Here is a you tube of James & Gimble when they won their MACH at one of their local shows.

MACH Gimble - YouTube

Just in case I did not do that right you can find it under you tube quossum
MACH Gimble . Quossum is our DD they both handle their own dogs, and she is good about posting the things he films for her.

Oh I should add they are all members of Flash Paws ( dog training and show club in Houston,Tx )

Sometimes I like to brag,so maybe you want get to board...Hope you enjoy watching them.

great job! It's tough competition for a corgi since some of the other smaller dogs tend to be so fast. My corgis did agility (no one does now) but in slow motion.. Well, Candy was fast in his youth but someone else owned him then. One of my friends from out here drove all the way back for Nationals but her corgi was injured right off and didn't compete (she had another dog running so he still got to.) I actually got my trailer first to camp at agility trials, but one thing led to another and now I don't have an agility dog- Jack is the only able-bodied one and he has epilepsy and does not do well with excitement.
