My 37 yr. old
Burro has a great floor, except for right behind the wheels.
Appears all those years of kicking up road moisture/debris, have taken a toll on this area.
In the process of repairing the areas- not too big, just immediately behind the wheels.
I’ve noticed that some small,13’ trailers come with mud flaps( Trillium).
And some of those trailers have been around for a long time.
Anyone noticed a correlation between mud flaps and lack of rot behind the wheels.
Most discussions center around
leaks causing the rot, which is probably the more common cause. But check the flooring underneath behind the wheels and see if there’s a correlation between rot/no mud flaps, and no rot/flaps.
