Need help in moving Scamp 5th wheel rv

I have a Scamp 5th wheel in a storage lot in Las Cruces NM. I need it moved to a shop to have it modified so I can tow it with my F-150. Anyone in the area possibly able to help. It is one of those catch 22 problems, raise the trailer before you can use the truck but how do you get it to the shop!

If all else fails, there are tow trucks that have the ability to haul a 5th wheel - MOST, however, do not!

If you go that route, call around to ensure that you getting a truck that can do it and a driver that can do it as well....

I did an advanced members search for Scamps in New Mexico. I found 1 member that might be able to help. I don't know them or how close they are to your trailer. I'll PM you the result.

Alternatively you could load the 5th wheel onto a flat bed trailer and piggy back it over to the shop. Or maybe the shop knows someone that has a tow vehicle set up for a gooseneck trailer. Wikipedia says there is intensive agriculture surrounding the city, with that I'm sure there is someone with a gooseneck setup.

You could try craigslist: las cruces classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

Thanks for all the help. I plan to be in Las Cruces in May. I am talking to a couple of tow companies, but it is hard to explain what the Scamp 5th wheel hitch is like. Not like any other hitch. Scamp should really think about going to either a true gooseneck hitch or a true 5th wheel hitch. No one really wants to mess with moving them.
