Need some advice...

So I have a 1982 Scamp 16 foot trailer. I am thinking about selling it. Do you think it would sell this time of year or should I wait until spring? Opinions please!!!

You can sell it, but you will probably get more money for it in the spring.

Give it a try, if no buyers, try again in the spring.
Pictures always help sell it.
GOOD LUCK

I bought my trailer later than this in the year and my neighbor is looking for a trailer presently. As was said, they will usually sell but perhaps at a little lower price.

Sharon,

Too bad it's not an Escape 17 you were selling. In the last week or so there have been three people over on the Escape forum wanting that trailer.

Good luck selling whether fall or spring

I've noticed an interest in the southern climes at this time of year. I presume that the cooler weather makes for more comfortable camping season for them.

We sold our last 2 FGRV's to eager buyers in late August/Early September and at good prices.

Think about not having to store/insure and worry for another 6 months, as well as any additional aging to tires, the risk of new leaks over the winter, and taking a slightly lesser price should be inviting.

There is a small group of buyers out there that want turn-key units for instant gratification before the snows come. Also, if it is a fixer, there is a group looking for winter projects.

But I would have it advertised no later than NOW, time is fleeting.
