New tires for 13' scamp- load rating?

I need to get new tires for my 13' scamp. The manual says the original tires are 13" load rating B. I want to replace them with radial trailer tires. Is there a a reason not to get a higher load rating? Will a C or D tire be much stiffer giving a more bumpy ride?

Is there a reason to buy 14" tires?

No need for 14" tires.
Here (IMO) is your best choice to replace your OEM tires.
I use them with great satisfaction on my Scamp 13D.
They are smooth and dependable and maintain pressure very well...

You won't notice it unless you are riding back there.

Not if you have 13" rims.
