Hello all, I just acquired a '87 17' Burro made in Sac City, Iowa (per the graphics on its side). It is in remarkable shape ( it stayes underneath a 10x20 canopy ) but it is missing some of it's internal features and I'd like to restore them back to, or close to, original. From pictures I've seen I think it had a front sofa that could become a bunk as the chrome rings for the post are there as well as the hinges up at the front window for the back / upper bunk. Is there a diagram of how these were installed / assembled for use? Some more detailed pictures of similar units would be awesome.

BTW you've got a great informative site here on such a niche product. Thanks for all your hardwork and effort to help the rest of us get the most enjoyment from these neat little campers.

Thanks for your help

Welcome and congrats! Ya can't go wrong with a Burro.. but, I am biased

We have a couple older Burro owners (Older trailer.. not the owners...) here with your model that can give you all the details. It sure sounds like you had the bunk option, I am not sure if that was standard on them or not.

I had a 13 foot Sac City Burro, and it actually had the "Adult" configuration. No bunk option, and it had shelves above the gaucho and dinette instead.

Roger?

Well here it is 6 years later and I'm finally getting around to updating my little fiberglass gem.

Here is the new Allure flooring I finished up this past Saturday.

Hi Greg!

I've got a 1982 13' Burro that I'm working on. I really like your floor. What's underneath it to level it out? Did you have any sub flooring when you started?
