New Window Awning.

I just got done installing a new awning over the windows in my U-Haul CT-13. I used 3/8" awning rail, 3/4" conduit, and 3/8" fiber glass poles. I drilled 3/8" holes half way through the conduit inserted the fiber glass rods. The rods set on the lip under the window they are held down tight buy a strap.

Jason,Thanks so much for the link !! I had already decided to install small awnings over my windows using short lengths of awning rail, but I could not figure out how to attach the support legs to the trailer. WOW, your innovation is brilliant - using only one hole for the tie down! Excellent thinking! This is on my To Do list. And I guarantee that be sitting for very long in my 'round-tuit' pile! What are the supports and rod made from, please?

Question? Is the awaning removed from the rail before traveling or is there a way to roll it up then secure it? thx.
