Newbie w HVAC question

Yet another question. You folks have been so helpful...

I have a 2002 19' Scamp. It has a roof mounted Coleman AC w heat strip. I am camping now in South Carolina. I have not often used the AC but it is hot here now. I am getting plenty of cold air but it does not seem to pull out the humidity. Last fall, I camped w a friend who has a new 16' Scamp and when she ran her AC (she was in sun, I was in shade and didn't need it) water poured down the side of her Scamp. I never see a drop.

Is this normal? Is something plugged?
Thank you in advance!
Jean

Some AC s actually have the fan tips touch the condensate and fling it through the coil to boost cooling.
If you have cool air then there would be condensate somewhere. It comes off the inside coil and runs through grooves or other openings to the outside or to the afore mentioned tray under the outside condenser coil.
