Smile No Leaks

Hello All after this Holiday Camping Weekend,

We took our CT 13 out for the first time. During our third evening we experienced an intense thunderstorm with many hours of driving rain. We had just spent many hours over the last three months replacing all of the seals on our windows. We are proud to announce we had NO leaks. Thank you Bridgett for all of your information. We used your suggestions, found a bug guard, and replaced a lot of the screws. Our back window was pulled, cleaned and replaced with new butyl rubber. We are excited that our little u haul is water tight.

That's good news, but did you check in the corner storage areas, the marker lights are a source of leaks. Water entering around those lights ends up in the storage areas

Wink Lights

Yes, we did. Actually we took each of them off and replaced the caulk and made sure they were water tight. We have no water coming in anywhere. Oh, we put in a Fantastic Fan. We love it. I feel that even in 84 degrees, it cooled the camper to the point that we felt we did not need A/C..

Thank you for your response.

good job on eliminating leaks. we even had a couple through the roof seam. took awhile to track them all down and repair. three new windows really helped.
