No Propane supply

Hi,

I have a 1988 16ft travel trailer with 2 tongue mounted tanks. The tanks are full and with the valve on but no gas in the lines.

The supply lines pass through the water heater and space heater before reaching the stove and refridgerator.

Is there any procedure at one of the other components that must be executed to supply gas to the trailer.

I have not found any cutoff valve...not saying it does not exist.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mitchell

I'd be checking the regulator.

Hello Mitchell and welcome to the forum. Two thoughts:
-there is a flow regulator inside the tanks I have. It will sometimes "shut down" if the flow is too high. To reset it I close the the valve, disconnect the tank, and then reconnect the tank.

-might be a bad regulator.

Others more knowledgeable than I will chime in I'm sure. Good luck, Raz

I have used an old hose that was "plugged" with dust due to no cap being used on it. If problems persist having your propane system inspected at an RV centre is a good investment. They will usually post a modest fee and it should really be done periodically anyways.

Cheers,
Mark

Yes!! That's what plugged the hose, spider webbing. Keep those things capped.
