No seeums and Scamp screens

Thank you all for the valuable information you have shared. I’ve braved changing out my mouse hole with a ParkPower kit and it turned out well. Here’s to your knowledge!

I’m, at the moment, camp hosting, for a month, at my favorite campground. I’ve realized my window screens are not fit for the tiny critters known as no seeums. I spend a good amount of time killing them in the camper, haven’t been able to keep my windows open, and wonder what solutions you have found to remedy this. Am i wrong? Are they getting in a different way?
Plus, lol, my MaxFan died, and my ac doesn’t blow cold. I bought a small fan that’s doing the trick for now. Thanks for your input ahead of time! Robin

Robin,

I don't know what sort of screen framing Scamp uses in their later editions, but maybe you could wrap or sew on something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/KENYON-61366Q...g%2C277&sr=1-4

How do you kill them inside when you can't seeum?

Good luck,
Gordon

I read that it burns for 12 hrs.
Can you burn for three hour and nine more later? Or must it burn twelve continuous hours?

Hi Gordon,

In good light you can see these monsters shimmer on the walls. I just squish them. It worked and no bites last night.

Thanks for the link! I’m going to check it out now

Sounds like an expensive item to keep refilling every 4 hours if you need them for days for maybe more than 4 hours.

Robin,
As a side note: we used to call them "all jaws" in the Adirondacks. You know why...

Carry on,
Gordon

Gordon, Yikes!!

Yeah, there’s not much to them, and they pack quite a wallop! Appropriate name.
