Norcold refer

Can anyone make a suggestion on how to trouble shoot my Norcold Refer. The 110 AC works fine, but I can't seem to get the propane to light. The gas is on and I can see there are gas lines in the guts of the machine, so I know its suppose to work on gas. I also can not figure out if its running on 12 volts. Any suggestions are welcome

I suggest a professional. First the entire gas system on camper should be checked annual or when something is not working right. Then there are specific trouble shooting steps to take that depend somewhat on the features and model of the Norcold fridge (which is not known). Propane can be very dangerous and if it does not light when you follow the directions in the manual then its not something that I would suggest anyone tackle without the skill and knowledge needed to so so safely.

First check to make sure the isolating valve on the fridge is open or any other valve on the line going to fridge.
I know in my Boler camper when I first turn on the gas, I will bleed the line the gas lines by lighting the gas stove, this is right over the fridge.

Even after bleeding the line to the stove the short tee line going to the fridge will take about 6 tries before gas will finally get there.

be careful and if you smell any gas and it doesn't light check to see if pizzo is working. before turning gas on open inspection flap and hit Pizzo to see if it sparks.

Follow instructions on lighting.

Propane fridges are very sensitive to improper regulator pressure and spider nests into the pilot light assembly. If valves are open an if you follow the lighting sequence by holding the red button, it should lit up. If not, get it checked by a pro. There are special tools and techniques required to proceed safely with any repairs on gas.
