Off frame restoration

Hello, I'm going to bring back to life a 1978 13' Burro. The floor is all but completly rotted out, door is off due to hinges pulled out from outside wall where they attach. It has a few, "what I call stress cracks" on the outside. These "cracks" look like spider webs. I have decided to do a complete "off frame" restoration. I would like some advise on the best way to start this. I would be thankful for any help and advise of the right way to start.

There are several places on here where persons have done very extensive restorations.

Just remember one very important thing. We desire lots of pictures and these will also help if needed to get it all back together if needed.

There are lots of threads that would be helpful. I'd suggest using the Google Custom Search, in a separate tab, rather than the search engine here on FiberglassRV.... that's what I use!

Bodie, I bought my '83 Burro from Shane O on this forum after he had just done the exact job you describe. I think I may be able to pull up the pix he sent to me of the job as it was underway. Would you like to see them?

Green Frog, I would definatly like to see the pic's. Donna, Thanks for the advise on the other places to search. It will be a few days before I really settle into starting this project. My wife say I have " Honey Do's " to finish before I can start.
