On putting windows back in

Moving along and hoping to have the Boler up and going before vacations...

I cleaned up all my windows. I changed the plexiglass ones. I put new rubber seals in the four jalousie windows. Now I need to put them back in. From the outside, I have to put the window. From the inside, I need to put the small window frame.

I'm wondering how to fasten the inner window frames.

Before or after the windows? Probably after because it would be impossible to put on the washers on the rivets inside. It has to be put last since it covers all the rivets from the window.

I did install the small window above the stove and installed the inner frame last. But the rivets stick up behind the window...

Thanks!

(Random bonus: Found a neighbor with a 1975 Boler a couple blocks away! Exact same model as mine! I got mine 3 hours away, he got his 6 hours away!)

(PS: Look at my heater vent! Got one of the fridge as well. Custom made by a friend who works in a fire truck factory!)

Small jalousie window

Where did you find the rubber seal for the small jalousie window? If you have a good supplier for all the seals for the jalousie windows, would you please share that source.

I am in the middle of putting all my windows back together and I haven't found a good supplier for seals.

^^ I'd also love info on where to find that seal. Haven't looked yet, of course....

Mine is bolted on, so I can't help you on order.

Dave,

I found all the jalousie seals at vintagetrailersupply.com. I thought it was common knowledge... Glad to help.

All done!

The inner frame goes on after riveting the windows in. All other three windows went in without a problem and none of the inner frame rivets really show on the outside.

Small window seal

I found it Sylvio, thanks. Scamp is new to me, since I have had a couple Compacts. Curved doors are new to me also. That was a real challenge too.
