Ordering parts from Scamp
Looking for feedback from anyone in the Calgary region that has ordered parts off scamptrailers.com
ie, return time on orders, shipping cost, and cross boarder fees
Thanks

I just received a bunch of stuff from Scamp here in Regina. Scamp was great to deal with, the order shipped very fast but since they ship UPS I was hit with a $45 COD for customs charges on a $200 order.
You could try asking Scamp to ship via USPS but with our mail strike situation you might want to wait that out.
What are you looking to order, I see you have a early 70s Boler as well.

You may want to check out: Fibreglass RV Parts, Repairs, and Service by Paul Neumeister if nothing else to comparison shop.

looking for the door hinge assembly, I can refinish the hinge, but need the ball/pin pieces, also, acorn nuts (really wanting brass finish), door trim, and some finishing trim for the fiberglass edges on the counter top/storage unit/closet.
I haven't looked for usable substitution parts at the stores around town, but I haven;t had much luck with other items yet.

Hey Adam, I'm in Calgary, I ordered cushion covers from scamp. UPS COD was $ 71.12 CDN (covers were about $317 CDN). Shipping was quick, Scamp was pretty good to deal with. I also ordered an axle through Paul Neumeister ( Fibreglass RV Parts, Repairs, and Service by Paul Neumeister). Really nice guy to deal with. Call him up, he may know of a source for the hinges you need.

Hi: adriemel83 Here's a pic of the Scamp hinge and hardware. Their nuts and bolts aren't S/S though.
