Hi Bob - can't help with install advice, but here's our suggestion: you can eliminate a lot of modification work by just using a Coleman hand-held, battery-operated shower and a large kettle of warm H20. Our Scamp 13 has no shower; if we are boondocking, we set up a 'privacy cabana', heat the water, step into the bottom section of the 'shower stuff' storage tub and suds up. FYI Note: the frame of our cabana will NOT support the weight of a solar shower bag). If you are just rinsing off in your swimsuit after a day at the beach/lake/etc, don't even need the cabana. When we get ready to travel, everything stows neatly in the storage tub which rides in it's assigned spot in the tug. Doesn't get much easier - we've used this method happily for over 3 years. However, YMMV.
Happy camping - L 'n D

I can't help either, but I think an outdoor shower plumbed into the hotwater system would be great. Especially after a day of walking on the beach... wash off the sand or having a dog (or kid) that liked to play in the dirt/mud. I'll follow this topic with renewed interest.

Bob,

Here's a link to a site where I bought my components for a quick disconnect hose Hot & Cold outside shower, and a few pics of the installation in my Casita.

They also make them for boats, so look at a marine supply store.

I just ordered a free standing solar shower from Plow & Hearth for 180. They were 40. cheaper than another company and offered 100% satisfaction vs 30 day war. You hook a hose to the base and fill with 2 ltrs of water, let stand in the sunlight then mix with cold hose water to shower. If this fits in the trailer and allows me to fill the base with hot water, you can bet I will be standing in a big plastic bin with a shower curtain rigged up avoiding MN bugs, cold and wind! I hope it has a shut of valve, should have asked but I like to tinker... just another possible option to a cheap (?) fix!
