PD4000 converter - how to install?

I have read so many posts about how crappy the installation directions are for the PD4000 mighty mini converter...and I totally agree! We are trying to get this thing installed before our trip in July and we have never done this before. If anyone out there has ever installed this model please, please give me directions I can understand.

So far, I am thinking that on DC side I wire all my positives to the wires coming out the back and the negatives to a buss bar along with the ground wire hooked to the chassis and the neg from the battery then connect that to the converter in the Neg in spot. The pos from the battery gets connected to the pos in spot.

On the AC side I am putting in a 30Amp breaker which my main plug for shore hook-ups will go into. I am adding two more 15 Amp breakers for my fridge and one other AC outlet.......this is where my confusion comes in.....do I just wire these to the buss bars on the bottom? What goes into the "Hot" buss bar on the side?

I want to make sure the converter actually converts as well as charges my battery when plugged into shore line?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

AC Wiring: White to lite and green is ground the world around.

What this means is that the white wire is the return and attaches to the shinny silver colored screw and the Black is the HOT wire and attaches to the brass connection and the Green is ground and attaches to the green connection.

On my camper, the white is also attached to a bus than has a wire attached to the frame of the camper.

You will need one of these to test to make sure all is correct.
Electrical Receptacle Tester with GFCI Diagnosis

Use that device each and every time you connect to a power source. Check the power source B 4 you connect then once connected, go inside the camper and check to make sure it is OK.
