Porta Potty elp

Hi
After reading all about recommendations for portapotties, I decided that a PETT by CleanWaste is just right. Its sturdy, will handle up to 500 pounds. Since I weigh in excess of 300, thats a good thing. It folds up. I can make a box for storing it and the box canbe used to raise it up a bit. I'm also tall ............ and old, so getting up and down is bit of a chore. The box will fitonedgein the verticle closet next to the door in Hamster the Campster. It will be perfect for a while at least, for those night time visits us old farts make. I have already ordered up a dressing room pop up for its use. And its available from Amazon, among others.
SO, whats the problem? It can't be shipped to my home address in Pioneer, Northern Calif. I'm guessing that it must be the chemicals used. Amazon can't ship the replaceable wag bags either. Here's the kicker. As far as I know, I can buy these goodies at an REI in Sacramento at a higher price.
So how can I find out where in Northern Calif they can be shipped? Are there any other alternatives?
Thank you, kindly. All help greatly appreciated

Any reasons given for the shipping?

I don't get it. If they can't ship it to a residence, for example, then Amazon would have no incentive to offer it for sale.

I'm going to guess that they can't ship it to your particular state due to state regs. If that's the case, maybe you can find a "mail boxes etc"-type place just across the state line that will receive it, and go pick it up. Or have it shipped to a friend who then re-ships it to you without specifying the contents.

Sometimes Amazon has a local pickup option instead of shipping, is that available in Northern CA?

There is ni reason given for not shipping other than a mention of zip code. This led me to the idea that it may be county oriented. I do live in a mountainous county. There are restrictions on public lands regarding waste disposal. Bring it in, bring it out rules, etc. I dont know if there is a local pickup for Amazon. REI prices arent that outlandish, so maybe I'll just buy it there.
As for the inappropriate comment. I agree.
Thanks

A few years ago I had a place refuse to sell me a plastic plumbing fitting. Turned out despite it being plastic it had not been certified lead free, a state of Vermont requirement. I found the part next door in New Hampshire.
