Primus duo-flow propane heater

I can't get the image to post but if you google it you'll see a green heater with kind of a V shape. Does anyone have one? Or know how to use it? It came with my trailer and I stashed it under a bed in the cabin and am now deciding whether to keep it or not. Primus doesn't make heaters anymore so no info there.

The NEW propane cat heaters have a LOW Oxygen shutdown function. This is important in confined areas dur to the fact you can run out of oxygen and suficate. If it does not have that function, I would not use it in a camper.

Regardless of what I use in a camper, I have more than 1 carbon monixide detectors in use.

I'm just deciding whether to keep it as a back up for power failures while I'm staying in my mom's basement this winter (plenty of air flow and I wouldn't sleep with it on anyway). Plus I think for the size of the area one bottle of propane would burn out before it would be a problem. I agree on the camper- I have a Black Cat propane heater for backup there and could use that here, too, if I wanted to.

But that's a very good point- not as safe- though I don't trust the low oxygen sensor anyway.

Bobbie: I dont trust that auto shut off either.
Just make sure you have the Carbon Monixide detector in use.
