Proper gasket for Lil Bigfoot door?

Has anyone else replaced the gasket on their door? Mine is a 1988, and I'm sure the PO put a new one on, but it is too thick and the door will not shut and latch without a lot of effort... and I really can't get it latched from the inside.

Any links or photos much appreciated!

I used some peal & stick door/window gasket. It looks similar to what you have on the inside of the door frame. I don't know what the original was. Mine is 1987 Lil Bigfoot

So yours is more like sponge than rubber?

Also, I see you also have that blank spot that looks like a dead bolt should go there... does anything in the door itself correspond to that?

Yes. My current gasket is more like sponge. It's cheap and easily replaceable. I have no idea what the blank spot is for, but probably meant for a dead bolt.

I bought YoTache on Amazon 26 feet. 2 rolls. nylon backed, won't stretch $11.+
I did the door and screen stop plates. 1/4" X 1/2" might say 7/16 " I don't remember works perfect.
