Our Boler windows are badly pitted, cracked and scratched. I don't think there is any hope. I see from the photos, a lot of people replace with tinted materials. Is it the consensus that Lexan is the best? The clear allows vision straight thru when driving. I guess the tinted offers shade from the sun. Is there anything else to consider? What are people happy with? Thanks!

Hi: If you are refering to the front/rear plexi windows it has been discussed here that cleaning and then buffing with Brasso will rejuvinate the plexi from minor pits & scratches and give the windows a nice water shed finish... I have so far bought the Brasso but not had time to try it!!! Sounds like a more simple solution and a "won't hurt to try it" at this point. If it doesn't work they can still be replaced. Tinted Lexan sounds best to me...

Mine are clear glass and I like them like that

Here's a couple of topics you may want to read:
Jalousie Window - replace with glass or plexi?

Scratches in big Plexiglass window, What kind of polish is best?

Plexiglass Cleaners??, What do you use to clean the plexiglass window?

Need to polish the plexiglass and get rid of the scratches? Check out this thread (almost at the bottom)...good information and applies to the plexi window in our trailers as well Orbital Electric Buffers
