Rearview Camera install on Casita

I'm hoping I can install a camera tapping into the wiring for the tag light assuming there is a tag light. Pick up my Freedom Deluxe in March but not taking the factory installed camera option. Any thoughts? All suggestions welcome but I'm out of free changes to my Casita order.

tag light is a clear lens , part of the taillights. I tapped into the running light so I can use it as a rearview mirror by turning on my headlights.

I bought a camera that uses a suction cup to attach to the inside rear window. It then plugs into the "cigarette" charge port. No outside wiring. We take it down for the night. It is wireless. It stayed i place for over 4000 miles. I am very happy with it. You can use it to record and add up to 3 more cameras.

Rear view camera

I installed a wireless license plate camera to the inside back window with suction cups. And plugs into the power port inside.

Any chance you would share the link to the model you bought? I like the idea of not adding holes in the fiberglass exterior. I currently have a rear view on the camper I am replacing but had to cut a hole into the sheet metal and tap into the running light. Not ideal but it has worked, the other not ideal part to it is the monitor it came with is too large and cumbersome.

Yarky Y27. It comes with a nice screen that plugs into the cab cigarette charge port. I have photos of my set up but can't figure out how to post in this reply.

Is it correct that both the camera and the monitor can be powered from cigarette lighter type outlets? I can't tell from the Amazon listing what kind of power cables are included. Thanks!

Sorry for more questions, but did you rig your own suction cup mount for the camera, or is that included? The Amazon ad is sorely lacking in those details including Info on power configuration on the camera. I have that very monitor with DC plug (cigarette lighter) with a big red button. While I would love a smaller screen I have made the big 7" work.
