Refer Problem with Tundra T22

HI Everyone...We have a 87 13' Scamp with a Tundra T22 Refer that is supposed to run on 12V, but only works when we're hooked up to 120V source? I know its a retro fit, but I just can't figure out how to make it work off the battery?

We have a new solar cell for our series 27 battery, which is working great and fully charged all the time. We live south of Carson City NV with PLENTY of sunshine; so the normal problem of the battery dropping below 9V is not an issue.

Any ideas?

I dont think that I have every heard anyone on THIS forum mention a Tundra fridge before. A quick look a the google search results for a Tundra fridge on this site shows a few posts but off hand looks like most or all are from 2006, 2008 and 2012.

Perhaps this service manual will help.

I can't top Gordon's post. But be sure the 12volts are there at the fridge, no blown fuses, and 12 volt wires connected.
