Refrigerator issues

On the tail end of a trip now and the refridge started acting up. Freezer is 14 degrees but fridge is at 50 degrees.
1. Outside temps are 85 to 96.
2. Camper temp is 70 to 74
I’ve checked the outside venting it’s not stopped up. Checked the adjuster in the fridge it’s ok and thermistor isn’t pulled out.
Have space around everything with a small fan running.

I’m ok with the freezer but the fridge is too warm, any suggestions until I get back home.

Fridge is a dometic 110/propane model 26621BX 2018 Bigfoot 25RQ

Is there frost built up in or around the freezer?

The X on the end of the model number tells us that the cooling unit was made by a subcontractor for Dometic when their own production got behind. Those cooling units are very poor quality and more prone to failing.

Even the freezer is not cold enough at +14. You can open the cover on the circuit board and find the wire that is coming down from the thermistor and locate where it plugs onto the circuit board, on the upper LH side. If you squeeze the tab and pull the connector off the board, the fridge will go full cold, this will tell you if the cooling unit is working.

Is the fridge not working properly on both LP and electric? or unst not on one or the other?

While they would like to sell you their product, ARP does provide a lot of good troubleshooting information. This web page should help you troubleshoot the issue.

It’s dead

I was talking to dinosaur electronics, we sent it to full cold like one of you mentioned. Fridge still went up three degrees freezer one degree, this was as the day warmed. We just bought a small 4.3 CF electric from Home Depot to finish the trip.

Thanks for the replies

Just for extra information my paperwork on the 25RQ listed the dm2662lbx as the equipment onboard, it’s actually a DM2852, just saying check the information on the fridge.

New info

Now that I’m home I’ve had more time to check out the refrigerator. Sat morning I turned it on with using propone then disconnected the thermistor, Sunday morning it was 10 degrees. Doesn’t this point to the thermistor being bad?
