Reinstalling jalousie windows boler

Hello I am working on rebuilding my jalousie windows in my Boler. I have found tons of info on here but have a question.

Currently the windows are installed with rivets through the fibreglass. I was considering re installing with stainless sheet metal screws in pre-drilled holes. Has anyone done this with success or do most suggest using rivets? Any info is greatly appreciated thanks!!

Rivets vs stainless screws has been debated on here several times. If you want to use screws that would be perfectly acceptable. You can still use the rivet covers with screws (not sure if there are caps on the windows).

IME, screws are not going to hold with just fiberglass. You will either need bolts with nuts on the inside, or a piece of backing wood (like the Trillium window design).
