Repairs

Hi everyone my name is Rudy Zamora and my family and I are new owners of a older travel trailer. We discovered some water damage and rot as our travels brought us to south east Georgia. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was easier to remove said damage from the inside or take off the siding and attack it from there? I'm sure others have encountered this problem before me so I was wondering if I can do it myself as I am pretty handy or if I should take it to a repair shop. Thank you for your help

Hi Rudy. If you've spend anytime here on FiberglassRV reading, you've probably found out our trailers aren't the same build type as your Sandpiper. We don't have walls to remove. Ours are all molded... built like fiberglass boats.

I'd suggest you try a couple of forums where there's trailers of your build type: iRV2 Forum | - RV Forum Community and RV News and the Open Road Forums at RV.net

Best of luck!
