Replace Dometic Thermostat with ??

I need to replace my Dometic capacitive touch thermostat. It is a single zone, three wire unit that controls my AC and Heat. Does anyone have a suggestion for what they have used that works? I have a trip planned, leaving in 5 weeks and I have to have these working. Thanks

I just installed this t stat in my Bigfoot. All digital and has multiple configurations. Found it as an amazon deal for $20.00. The Bigfoot had a manual t stat two wire heat w/fan only but this one should work for you.

That will not work as a replacement for the Dometic capacitive touch thermostat. The Dometic thermostat is designed to work with electronics located in the AC and cannot be replaced with a standard thermostat. Micro Air makes an expensive replacement - the Easy Touch RV. Several models for replacing different thermostats.

Agreed!
I just replaced my thermostat with the Dometic capacitive touch thermostat. Easy install. Amazon: Dometic 3316250.700 Single Zone White T-Stat/Heat Strip/Heat Pump. About $61

We replaced ours about about 18 months ago with the Easytouch wifi & bluetooth
thermostat & love it. It is easy to install, much easier to use, & being able to adjust a/c when away is a huge plus especially when traveling with pets.

Depending on how you use your camper this may be a big mistake. I travel in the winter at times and need my furnace to work. All honeywell thermostats, have a hidden undocumented "feature". If the temp at the thermostat is below freezing they will not turn on. The idea is that it things fail and the house freezes you don't want to furnace to come on a thaw it out. But with a camper if you are traveling in the winter you will likely be trying to start the furnace with if being below freezing at the location of the thermostat. And that makes it a nightmare to get the furnace going.

It would be one thing if they documented this, but they don't and so you get surprised in the field with this.
