Replacement door hinge
For those of you searching for a suitable replacement door hinge for those sagging Boler, Casita, Burro, Love Bug, and Scamp doors; I have found an excellent marine grade hinge that is far superior to that used by either Scamp or Casita.

Thomas and Janifer:
I have to get pricing from the manufacturer from the company here in Elkhart that made this. If I buy more than one pair, I can get better pricing, and that would help everyone out all around. Basically, you would pay cost, tax, and S&H Personally, I am buying three pair for myself. And another member is interested, so that is four pair. With you that would make five pair. I do not know if they are priced individually or as pairs. But, I do know if I buy a dozen there is a price change. I will admit they are not cheap by any means.
I have been looking for a suitable replacement hinge for two years, and once I saw it on another camper, it took three weeks to find out who supplied it, who manufactured it, and where I could buy it locally.
Will keep you informed.

nice hinge
Ray:
Nice looking hinge, but it won't work!
Both pins of the upper and lower hinges must be in line as tho you could drop one long rod thru em. Casita hinges are angled, the top being different from the bottom in order to do this and still fit the contour of the door. Notice the difference. I wouldn't rush out and buy em just yet. Check it out!

Here is an example of another hinge which was used on the U-Haul and early Burro's and will allow for the curvature of the door. I am trying to see if I can acquire or have duplicated from the same company that produced the above hinge. It is a very similar hinge and (YES-PCD) will allow for the curvature of the door.

pjanits:
I looked at it, I tired to click on the links, but keep coming up with a flush piano hinge, but could not get pricing to compare with the local manufacturer that I am working with on this project. It is easier to deal with a company here as I can actually show them the hinge, exact size, etc. to compare with what is manufactured in their plant.
Plus, I wouldn't have to pay for shipping! I also found another source for the hinge depicted in photo #2 of the U-Haul/Burro hinge, and the price is $61.00 each.
