Replacing Rivets

First time dealing with rivets. Do I install the rivets from the inside or outside? The first thing I'm going to install is the vent. I assume it makes a difference, even just cosmetically, whether my gun is on the inside of the trailer or on the roof side. Hopefully my question makes sense.

Get a few empty tin cans, drill some holes and practice with the rivet gun. The answer should be obvious and you will have learned how use pop rivets.

The answer is of course the rivets are inserted from the outside with the right length the rivets won't show inside the trailer, they are hidden behing the rat fur or ensolite. You'll need to put some sort of calking over the head of the rivet to keep it from leaking when it rains.
