Hello, I recently acquired a 1973 Trillium 1300 and the rock guard on the front window is missing one of the wing nut clips. Any idea where I can find one of these? Or if not, what's the best alternate solution to keep this thing closed? Thanks!
I would start at a well stocked hardware store and try to put something together. Square nuts or perhaps a nut and a filed washer. Or you can replace the whole thing. Vintage Trailer Supply sells what they call Stone Guard Suppot Arms. They have the wing nut, the spring loaded pin to keep it closed and the aluminum channel supports. They sell them in pairs for $40. An expensive solution but new supports should last a long time.
