Roof Repair

We have a 1976 Trillium that is in for restoration right now , but we need suggestions on how best to repair the roof prior to paint .It has chips and one large chunk out of the gell coat and the rest of the roof is badly oxidized and faded . Any suggestions?

Call a marine repair facility and ask if they can prep and reshoot the gelcoat. IMO, shooting gelcoat isn't too hard (I've done it in my garage many times), but it's better for it to be done in a booth...
