Sagging rat fur

I have a 1986 5th wheel scamp and have recently found the interior rat fur ceiling sagging at the dinette area. I live in Tucson and it has been 116 degrees this summer. I think the heat may be causing problems with the glue. Does anyone have a suggestion for fixing the sagging ceiling?

3M spray adhesive is usually used to fix your issue. Some people had issues with 3M spray 77 adhesive and heat. 3M now makes a 90 heavy duty spray adhesive sold at HD. The data sheet indicates it's adhesive failure is at 250F. If you search the 3M site on spray adhesives they will chat with you and answer any questions.

Once you pull it down to deal with it makes sure you redo all the layers. With spray adhesive. I have used the super 90 it works good, supper 77 is not good for bonding to the roof. Make sure you follow the directions on the can and don't be cheep spray it on good and fairly thick. I can guarantee you only want to do this once. Might be worth a call to Scamp and get what they use but I am sure they are spraying it with a spray gun. Stayed up for 30 years so I guess that's pretty good.
