Scamp electrical cord port cover

The plastic cover that clips down to cover up the electrical cord port on my 16' Scamp has broken. Scamp used to stock replacements, but today they tell me they have no such thing any longer. Any ideas for an alternative source for one of these? Thanks. - Bob Person

The new one will replace the old one with slight modification. ($10)

I became busy with other things, but finally took a shot at fixing the cover I have. Only one little hinge nib was broken so I took a piece of 10 guage copper wire, cut it to length, and after trimming off the top edge of the cover, epoxied the wire onto it. With a bit of trimming and filing, it seems to work as well or better than what was there. Good to know there are other options out there, though. Thanks.
