Scamp Escape Hatch Lid (Replacement Needed)

I am hoping someone can help me out. I have a Scamp 19'. When I was washing it the other day I found that one of the escape hatch lids has a corner broken off. Further inspection shows that both the hatch lids are in very poor condition due to sun damage. I would like to replace them as soon as possible. I measured the lid and it is 18 X 25. The size was verified by the parts list on the Scamp website. I know I can order the lids from Scamp ($50 a piece plus shipping) but wanted to know if anyone else had another source?

Thanks for your help.

Gail

I don't know if Scamp lists this info, but:
If you can figure out the brand/part number of the lid, try pasting it into your search box. I've found lots of parts that way.

Good luck!

Gail, if you find it someplace other than Scamp, please let us know where

I think it's an Elixir and I haven't found it cheaper than Scamp. Here's an example: RV Replacement Vent Lid 15 inch x 22 inch, Elixir

Notice where it says: This is the flange measurement. The lid is 18 x 25 1/4

When I replaced the hatch lid on my Scamp ( same problem corner was cracked and a piece was missing) Scamp had the best price I could find. PO tried to repair it with "silicone" and duct tape but it still leaked . I spray painted the new lid with plastic primer , then a coat of Krylon paint ,then a couple of coats of Nu Finish auto polish . Three years later it still looked like new ,no visible UV damage
