Scamp Extension Cord

I've currently got an overly-long heavy-duty extension cord for the Scamp. It's got "standard" household 110V plugs on it and I carry around adapters. However, I want to get something like a 25' cord that has the round high-amperage plugs in place. Any suggestions? What amperage capacity do I need on that cord?

yup that 30 amp is what you want, then get a smaller regular extension, or keep that one in case you want to run a set of lights, or something outside. for example we carry a waffle iron and make waffles outside,, the extra cord is handy for that sort of thing.

We have a 25 Ft ,30 amp extension cord for the trailer. We purchased the 30 amp cord from Amazon with free shipping for about $10 less than Walmart. We also carry a 30 FT 12-3 , 20 amp extension cord with a duplex GFIC receptacle on one end, We use it for the same reason John does , to cook outside when it is hot. With the duplex receptacle we can plug in both our coffee pot and an electric griddle. We plug the 20 amp cord into the 120 VAC receptacle on the camp grounds electrical panel so it is not on the same circuit with the trailer so as to not trip a breaker

Gee... I never thought of that! One cable going from the box to the Scamp and another (if there IS one) going from the box to <insert power slurping thingie here>. Great idea!
