Scamp TV Antenna option

I will be picking up my new Scamp 13' in Backus this August. One option I was considering was the TV Antenna. I didn't order the Scamp with the antenna, but still have time to add it to the order. As I understand it is an amplified antenna. Does anyone have any input on how well the antenna system works? I will probably use it more for weak FM radio stations in our local area, but travelling more with the new Scamp, it might be helpful in other areas. The option cost is $185. Thanks

Not too much real Estate on the roof of a 13 if you want to go with solar later. I started to install a rv antenna ($120) on the roof about two weeks ago and decided against it. I installed a GE slimline antenna from Wall Mart on driver side window, it was about $40. It is amplified and picked up about 20 channels about 35 miles away this week. I will try to attach a link later. I had to make two aluminum L brackets to attach it to the inside the window frame.

I think this is the one. I bought mine at the store. Just the right fit for inside the window behind the curtain. Ran the small lead into the end of the upper cabinet.
