Scooter for campground

Looking for an electric scooter. Typically for short range, paved streets. Disney's Fort Wilderness type of campground. Up to a mile to the ferry or bus terminal.
Either stand up or small seat. Under $400 or so. The Razor https://www.razor.com/products/elect...cosmart-metro/ is promising. Or the E300S: https://www.razor.com/products/electric-scooters/e300s/.
Maybe a small folding bike: https://www.amazon.com/Garain-Smart-...cooter+lithium
Any suggestions, or testimonials of this type scooter?

I use a folding electric bike but you'll probably not find one for $400. Perhaps a non-electric model, used, through craigslist?

Check Amazon:

$300.00

SWAGTRON Swagger High Speed Adult Electric Scooter; Ultra-Lightweight Carbon Fiber;

$205.00
Razor E300 Electric Scooter

Walking is safer (what is you hit a bump or stick with one of these...not like a motor cycle with it's large diameter wheels) and healthier, it's only a mile after all.

Check local Pawn Shops for a used one that you can try first. Always haggle on the price and your final last offer say, Is that an out the door price (Meaning you do not pay the tax - they do). Then if they say yes you have a deal and if they say no, head for the door and walk slow because they just may say yes B 4 you get out the door.

In that price range you will end up with a "motorized" scooter and they are not street legal in Florida and many other states. You can ride it around in an RV park on private property but you can't ride it on public roads. They are also not legal to ride on sidewalks in many towns and cities. So basically they will be a waste of your money in terms of what you can do with them.

So in your search you will want to get specific and confine your search to street legal vehicles. Then you will also want to check and see if you need to get a driver's license rated for operating it. Be sure you research the laws of the states you plan to travel in before you buy.

I bought a used Zappy for slightly more than that, however, it does not reverse, so be sure and determine if you need this and if the scooter does reverse. While also marketed as a disability scooter, because of the backing issue, it is not a good one, although it works great for the commute to the train in Chicago.

We are leaving Disney today. While I brought my Pride Go Go Folding Scooter (whose battery died 2 of the 5 days from giving grandkids rides), lots of people rented. Why not do that?

I know in the Oregon State Park system, in order to legally be on the roadways with a powered 'mobility' scooter, you also need a Disability Permit (hang tag) issued by Oregon DMV. I understand it's to prevent the motorized bar stools/coolers and kids in go karts.
