While I'm trying the caulking of the interior ensolite seams, I checked Lee Valley and they have a number of potential tapes, including a linen tape, 1.25 inches in width, for about 16 bucks. I know that there's been a lot of talk (tried a local Scamp/Boler restorer, and he said that he was unaware of replacement seam tapes) about seam tapes, so here's a possible option..

Lee Valley = Danger!!

Just a note here, that there are two different types of seam covers on Bolers.

1) A foam tape (used on a majority of Boler 13s and most* Scamp 13s).

This was originally a double-sided-adhesive foam tape, to which they applied talcum powder on the "room" side, to cover up the sticky. One can now order similar one-sided tapes, so no need for talcum. Scamp does sell a one-sided seam tape, and U-line has several varieties too.

2) A "hard" plastic T-type molding (used on some Bolers and also the original Trillium 13 and 15s).
This involves a small, "U-shaped" female track that is glued to the camper walls in the seam areas. Then a T-type molding is "snapped" into place from the room side. From what I can tell, no-one has been able to find this exact shape of "T-molding," although several people have modified the currently available T-moldings to work decently.

*I would have said "all" Scamps, except that I have seen some mid-'80s Scamps with a woodgrained color seam covering, and I don't know if that is just brown tape or if it is another product.

Morning.
for those still interested, look to Lee Valley and input 99K34.10. This will lead you to Linen tape, used mainly in museum mounting. $16.80 for 400 inches (1.25 inches wide). I point this out as I did order some foam door seal from Scamp. Good price and all, but, duties, etc cost almost as much!! Oh, to be South of the line, sometimes!
