The lock on my 1975 Trillium is broken. I've taken the entire mechanism to a locksmith but to no avail, it just breaks again later. Any suggestions of how to secure the contents of my trailer and also myself when alone inside would be much appreciated.
If the latch works then keep it just for a latch when the trailer is unlocked.
Then add a storm door deadbolt with a key. They are surface mount and fit the narrower door.
