Seeking previous post with floor redo photos

Hi all,

Could sure use some help finding a floor redo post...
Some days ago someone posted a great series of photos showing a complete floor removal and replacement...

We're now having to do the same in our 73 amerigo and husband Paul would sure love to see those pictures! (and read about the process.)

Anyone know where I can find them? Haven't been able to find them yet after hours of searching this site...

The easiest way to find any Amerigo posts is to click on the "manufacturers" tab at the top of the page then click on the Amerigo name. You will then be directed here: Fiberglass RV - Amerigo Trailers

You can then search all Amerigo related posts fairly easily.

....and just start reading posts there, I don't know if there were any specifically dealing with floor replacement but there are many that were being completely gutted/rebuilt. Hopefully you'll find some answers there!

Thanks. Seems like I've been through them all, some many more times than once, can't find the series of photos Paul wanted to see, but we were delighted to hear from MRClaus and feel greatly encouraged about this floor work--particularly since he said you can pull things like the bathroom wall out without having the ceiling sag down on you. If we can do that, we can get the space clear enough to do the floor AND get some new vinyl in properly! So far we only know the front half is rotten...haven't gotten to the back/upper half yet. Thanks--we did find LOTS of photos anyway, all of them helpful, even if not the series I was looking for. Partly it's helpful just to see we're not the only ones with this big a mess, and that others have conquered! We can but try!

Kai, are you referring to this post? link to thread: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f56/floor-help-please-71150-2.html

Below are the pictures from that thread.

I think all of these 40+ year old FGs are going to have some issues. Just pick away at them a little at a time then you can enjoy using it!

I just tore apart the back end of mine. I need to reseal windows, replace the trunk floor etc, etc.

MRClaus, those are the pics from the post I thought Kai was looking for, that is someone elses project.

Here are a few shots of my mess......

I'll get the back end buttoned up first then move onto the front windows.

I call it a shelf!

I'm not sure what they rated it for weight wise but I wouldn't trust it over 100lbs.
